I'm so glad you're here.

I'm a graphic designer, creative at heart, and a lover of games—especially the kind that bring people together around the table. When I discovered mahjong, I quickly fell in love not only with the game itself but also with the beautiful tradition of creating a thoughtfully curated tablescape.

Like many players, I eagerly ordered my first tile set and couldn't wait for it to arrive. But when it came time to find the perfect mat, I kept running into the same problem: nothing felt like the right match. The colors clashed, the designs didn't complement my tiles, and I couldn't find the modern, elevated aesthetic I was envisioning.

So...I designed my own.

What started as creating the perfect backdrop for my own tile set quickly grew into MadMahj Designs—a shop dedicated to helping fellow mahjong lovers find a mat that feels just as special as their tiles.

Every design is created with the goal of complementing today's most-loved tile sets while bringing a fresh, modern perspective to the table. My style is inspired by soft color palettes, cottage-core charm, handcrafted details, vintage touches, and timeless patterns—creating mats that feel both beautiful and functional.
